Full Description
A pillbox, located in the grounds of Pembury Grange. Visible on OS mapping and Environment Agency LiDAR.
Type 24, with 6 sides, and 7 gun embrasures, brick shuttered and in excellent condition. Site visit 15/1/13. Faces NW with field of fire over field and small rural lane. The lane it covers would have continued east but has been severed by the A21 now - the lane continues beyond the A21, on which Type 24 S0009599 sits alongside. (1)
