Full Description

An archaeological watching brief was carried out in 2005/6 during redevelopment of the site. In trench 1 an assemblage of Neolithic / Bronze Age flints was found. This assemblage comprised 82 pieces of worked flint: 76 flakes, 1 core, and 5 retouched/utilised pieces. The majority of the artefacts dated to the Late Neolithic or Bronze Age period, with a group of 20 pieces potentially dating to an earlier period. (1)
