Full Description
The building consists of the remains of a stone structure, probably a field barn
dating from the early C19th. The walls are of coursed random rubble stone with
brick quoins and lacing around openings (plate 6). The building has been heavily
altered and the only remaining stone elements are the two side walls. The
remains of the south gable is in brick and could be contemporary with the
stonework, all other walls appear to be a mixture of modern concrete block work
and brick.(1)
