Monument record TQ 67 SW 1638 - Possible shelter within property 4 of the Roman road side settlement, Springhead
Summary
Excavations in advance of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link in 2002-3 identified a number of Romano-British property boundaries west of the Ebbsfleet. Two parallel wall footings were identified within property 4, these may represent a shelter associated with the large tank also located within the property. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
