Monument record TQ 67 SW 1645 - fenceline within 'Property 8' at Roman settlement, Springhead
Summary
Excavations in advance of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link in 2002-3 identified a number of property boundaries west of the Ebbsfleet. A line of post holes were located along the western boundary of property 8, between the property and the branch road. It seems likley that these represent the former site of a fenceline in this location. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
