Full Description

An archaeological evaluation carried out in 2009 found walls associated with a former synagogue known from a map of 1768 (Andrews and Wren) . The synagogue was constructed in 1763 and was appropriated in 1846 to make the approach to the new station. The northern edge of the building was found in trench 3 (1)
