Full Description

Tall two-storey building built in 1869/70, plain frontage with mix of yellow and red brick. Four windows to each floor with cambered yellow brick heads but plastic windows. Originally built to be a hotel, the Vine Hall instead became the meeting place from around 1870 for the “open” Plymouth Brethren (evangelical Christians who sought to reclaim the simplicity of New Testament church life and worship).
