Pair of semi-detached villas built between 1868 and 1896 and originally forming part of a group consisting of Nos. 5, 4, 3, 2, &1 'Bradbourne Villas'. This Victorian property (old No. 5 Bradbourne Villa) was built a few years later than Nos. 1-4 Bradbourne Villas, although it was still built before 1896. It is also in a slightly different style compared with the other Bradbourne Villas (now Nos. 70, 72&74, 76). Two-storey and attics. Yellow brick with red brick quoins and window surrounds. Steep-pitched roof, now concrete tiles. Six-panelled fielded doors with fanlights. Door surrounds have attached foliate columns and red brick pointed-arch (drop) door heads. Slightly projecting gabled bays have canted bay windows with attached turned columns for mullions and bracketed heads; first floor a double sash window with rectangular mullion, under gable with fretted bargeboard and small window in apex. All original pattern timber sashes. (1)
