Full Description
Once, with Chantry House, part of the curtilage of The Chantry, this building, with yard at front, was erected in 1905 in modest Arts and Crafts style as a stable with hayloft and staff accommodation, now converted into a garage and residential house. The two storey building, which is set back from the road, is brick on ground floor and the first floor is contained within a hipped plain tile roof incorporating flat-headed dormer casement windows. There is also a hoist door in the upper storey under a hipped tiled canopy on timber brackets. (1)
