Full Description

A timber framed building built in the 18th Century, it appears originally to have been a farrier's forge until the late 19th Century when it was completely refurbished around 1889. The shop front is undistinguished, having aluminium metal frame windows on a low riser, although the retractable awning remains. There are three timber casement windows on the first floor, the left and centre ones both being six light, three square panes over three rectangular, and the right one an eight light splay bay with square and rectangular panes. The facade would benefit from redecoration. (1)
