No. 47 is constructed of white painted brick under a deep tiled roof, with dormer windows at two levels. The central section has a timbered porch with a tiled roof, and all windows are timber framed with square paned casement windows. To the west is a separate two storey wing, set back but joined to the main building at ground floor level, and to the east a single storey garage wing in matching style. There is an old cast iron pump close to the front porch. The tall sturdy chimneys on the main building are in typical Arts and Crafts style (1)
