Full Description
The drinking fountain is situated just inside the southern gateway to Kippington Meadow. It is a very weathered monument built from lumps of ragstone and concrete. The inscription records the bequest of Rev. Percy Thompson in 1919, who donated the Meadow to the people of Sevenoaks, to preserve it as an open space for their enjoyment. (1)
