Full Description
The Chapel is a brick structure with stone features and exposed internal timber roof, built in 1912. It was dedicated by the Bishop of Rochester in 1912 and rededicated in 2012. Its construction meant that the boarders no longer had to make the long walk to Kippington Church on a Sunday. The Chapel is an unusual feature for a Prep school in Sevenoaks. Inside the Chapel, a Memorial tablet lists those who contributed to its building. Many of these names were well-known influential individuals of the time in Sevenoaks. (1)
