Monument record MKE115231 - Finds of various periods and human bone, the Great Drain
Summary
During a 2009 watching brief carried out while the condition of the Great Drain was being assessed, brick, tile, mortar and stone were recovered along with disarticulated and fragmented human bone. Other finds included late Iron Age and early Roman pottery, Roman tile and post-medieval pottery.
