Full Description
A Type 28A pillbox still stands on the south side of A26 near edge of Teston village above the country park. It was part of the Medway GHQ Stop Line and defends against crossings of Teston Bridge.
2024 - Concrete construction, overgrown with ivy. Embrasures and entrance open. Wide entrance but also has pedestal for fixed AT gun with bolt ring visible. Field of fire 106 degrees (ESE) (2)
