Summary
During excavations undertaken by Weachter at Barnfield Pit, Swanscombe between 1968 and 1972, a number of fossil land surfaces were identified at horizons within the lower loam deposits. Many of these contained animal footprints. (location accurate to the nearest 10m based on available information)
