Monument record TQ 76 NW 916 - Tunnel linking ravelin and the fort interior, Fort Pitt

Summary

Archaeological investigations in 2011/11 found substantial buried remains associated with the late 19th century military use of the fort. In particular a tunnel ran from the fort interior to the ravelin to the south-west of the fort.
