Monument record TQ 96 SW 1280 - Bronze Age ring-ditch and cremation burial, Claxfield Farm.
Summary
Archaeological work in 2011/2012 at Claxfield Farm found an early-middle Bronze Age ring-ditch and a middle Bronze Age cremation burial in a bucket urn. Several metres south of the ring-ditch was what seemed to be a pond sorrounded by a number of fire-pits.
