Full Description
An archaeological evaluation in 2015 found no features but did survey a linear feature visible in the landscape. The feature was a linear bank and ditch that ran north-east to south-west for 50m. The infilled ditch measured approximately 3.40m wide and 0.35m deep with a bank on the north side that measured up to 5m across and 0.25m high. The ditch ran parallel to the natural contour of the land positioned between 63m and 63.5m OD The feature provided no dating evidence but probably related to land boundaries that extended beyond the evaluation area and has been suggested as being of late medieval or post medieval date.
