Full Description

A Kent Archaeological Society fieldwalking programme in 2016 found a scatter of prehistoric flint and some post medieval / modern finds. 265 worked flints were recovered, mostly from the late neolithic / early bronze age period. 191 pieces of burnt flint were also found. There were few other finds as the field had not been ploughed regularly until fairly recently (1).
