Summary
St Saviour's Hospital was founded by the Community of the Presentation, an Anglican nursing order then based in London. The community maintained a convalescent home elsewhere in Hythe and when the London site closed in the 1960s Hythe was chosen as the new base and an imposing hospital constructed.
