Full Description
Cist burial found by workmen during quarrying at Knight's Bottom Pit, Walmer in 1910. Two copper alloy pins, potentially of the 'Picardy' type known elsewhere in Kent (e.g. Hawkes 1942; Parfitt 1994) were recovered, together with rough flints and 'traces of bones' The pins are now lost. <1>
