Full Description

`On Friday morning a most violent gale of wind at about S was experienced. The following accounts are received of its effects on the coast.

...The HARVEY, Redman, from London to Trinidad, was driven on shore on the Bathing Sand at the back of the East Pier, Ramsgate.' (1)

Wind conditions at Deal on the 15th given as SW. (1)

`The HARVEY, Redman, from London to Trinidad, which was driven on shore 15th instant, was got off on Tuesday night, and carried into Ramsgate harbour.' (1)
