Summary
Three burials, a child and two adult females were found south of Newtington, (Dolland's Moor) in 1989 durin excavations by Canterbury Archaeological Trust ahead of building the Channel Tunnel.
The site lay south of the M20, on a plateau between two deep gullies of the Seabrook Stream and one of it's tributaries, OD approx. 60m.. Exact location uncertain. The site is now part of the Channel Tunnel and therefore has been lost.

Full Description
Three burials, a child and two adult females were found south of Newtington, (Dolland's Moor) in 1989 during excavations by Canterbury Archaeological Trust ahead of building the Channel Tunnel. Two of the bodies were flexed and one was prone. One of the graves cut a Roman ditch, suggesting dating from late Roman to 6th-7th century use.
The site lay south of the M20, on a plateau between two deep gullies of the Seabrook Stream and one of it's tributaries, OD approx. 60m,exact location uncertain.. The site is now part of the Channel Tunnel and therefore has been lost.
