Summary
An early medival grave with skeleton accompanied by a sword, seax, sheild, spear and knife was found during excavation of a cess pool in the garden of 'Ty Rhos' St Monica's Road, Kingsdown.  The bones were reburied in the garden.
The site lies on the north-east facing brow of the chalk spur, overlooking the sea.  OD approx. 30m.
