Findspot record TR 35 NW 11 - Probable early-medieval jewlery, Sandwich
Summary
Pre-1792 a Kentish brooch, gold pendant and a copper alloy 'fish-head' (probally Anglo-Saxon) were recorded as being found in the neighbourhood of Sandwich. Then c.1830 two grave-markers were found in a field nearby. One of the markers had a Runic inscription, the lettering is almost erased on the other one.
