Ightham, Oldbury Hill, "Upper Patchgrove": surface-finds of Palaeolithic handaxes by Prestwich in late 19th century, comprising "lance-head" forms and "small well-finished ovoids", sometimes in fresh condition (1). TQ 583575 Findspots of Lower Palaeolithic handaxes and a flake in Folkstone Beds geology. (2-3)
