Ightham, side of Oldbury Hill, Styant's Bottom: surface-finds of several Palaeolithic handaxes in late 19th century (1, 2), one in collection of British Museum and another held at Maidstone Museum recorded by Roe in the 1960s (3) then listed in the Southern Rivers Project in the 1990s (4).
