Full Description
Late 19th C records of Palaeolithic handaxes from ground-surface of the hill to the northwest of Seal: "implements of high-level valley gravel type" from small gravel patch at c. 300flint OD (1), recorded by Roe in the 1960s (2).Findspot of Lower Palaeolithic implements possibly including a handaxe in Terrace 3 geology. (3)
