Ightham, Tebbs' Farm: one Palaeolithic handaxe (circumstances of recovery unknown, presumed surface-find) held in Maidstone Museum recorded by Roe in the 1960s (2). Site shown on late 19th century and early 20th century OS mapping, and also visited by Benjamin Harrison (1). TQ 593557 Findspot of a Lower Palaeolithic handaxe in Folkstone Beds geology. (3)
