Full Description
Langley, smallholding at west end of Kings Wood: surface-find of one Palaeolithic handaxe in 1962, reported to Maidstone Museum (1). It was described as "of mid-Acheulian type", blue/black flint with heavy white patination, and in fairly fresh condition (1). It was recorded by Roe in the 1960s (2), then listed in the Southern Rivers Project in the 1990s (3).
