Full Description
Trottiscliffe, aka (archaic) "Trosley": two Palaeolithic handaxes recorded by Roe in the 1960s in Maidstone Museum (2), circumstances of recovery unknown (presumed surface-finds). Patch of driflint was noted on slope to east of church in late 19th century and early 20th century (1), probably a fan of material slumped down the scarp slope of the Weald.
