Full Description
A Lower Palaeolithic handaxe was found by Mr Ridley in a garden at Hawkhurst at 69 metres ordnance datum. The objects were found at the junction of Tunbridge Wells Sand and Wadhurst Clay geology., listed in the Southern Rivers Project in the 1990s based on records in Maidstone Museum (1)
