PEFS - Dartford, N side of rail-cutting: parallel-bedded mollusc-rich deposits noted in late 19th century (1), thought to be equivalent to the Crayford brickearth in nearby Erith, where important Palaeolithic and palaeoenvironmental remains have been found (2, 3, 4)
