Full Description
PEFS - Boughton, near Loose: fossil mammal remains from loam-filled fissure in Hythe Beds (Lower Greensand), revealed during quarrying in early 19th century (1, 2). Species include bovid, deer, horse, mammoth, woolly rhino, hyena (3), suggesting a broadly Middle-Late Pleistocene date.
