St Mark's church was built in 1880 as a daughter church to the church at Aylesford. A simplyfied gothic building of ply-chromic brick, raised by local subscription. It was demolished in the 1970s. The building appears on the 2nd ed (1897-1900), 3rd ed (1907-1923), 4th ed (1929-1952) OS maps.
