Monument record TQ 55 NW 704 - Possible Roman waste pit and residual Roman finds, Dynes Road

Summary

An archaeological evaluation carried out in 2017 found what was interpreted as residual Roman material in modern fence holes and tree throws. The excavators believed though that the presence of sparse animal bone in one of the tree throws could imply that it was in fact a shallow waste pit
