"A Galliot Hoy, laden with wheat, is lost on the Goodwin Sand. A boat belonging to the Isle of Thanet, endeavouring to get to her, was overset, 2 men drowned. A small Deal boat,coming from the the vessel also overset, and 2 men drowned." Date of Loss: R
