Findspot record TR 36 NE 2500 - ?Mesolithic to later Prehistoric worked flint assemblage, Rumfields Road, Broadstairs

Summary

A small assemblage of seven pieces of worked flint was found during a watching brief on test pits and a pipeline between Fleete and Rumsfields in 2006. Two pieces may represent Mesolithic or Early Neolithic activity, while the remainder are typical of a hard hammer-struck later prehistoric assemblage.
