Full Description

HS1 Swanscombe Tunnel, south portal: core and blades from Final Upper Palaeolithic (Long Blade) industry, found during Watching Brief for HS1 (site ARC TMS00), in concentration around trench 3880TT - mostly in fresh condition, from sandy silt 388006 at base of Holocene alluvium, overlying Chalk bedrock (1).
