Full Description

Folkestone, Kingsnorth Gardens: fossiliferous brickearth recorded in mid-late 19th C in section in brick-pit northeast of Inglis Farm, showing 20ft of brickearth, with bones occasionally found in "blue earth" at base of sequence (1, 2). May also be the site where well-preserved bone of Bos primigenius found in "Mr Kingsnorth's brick-pit" in mid-19th C (3).
