Full Description
Lympne, surface-find of Palaeolithic handaxe on track down to Romney Marsh, found by G. Halliwell in 1977 (1, 2). Track is on steep slope, and covered at top with laid-down gravel containing stained flints, possibly the source of the artefact (1).
