Monument record TR 26 NW 103 - Probable burial site, Reculver

Summary

There have been numerous Early Medieval artefacts found along the foreshore at the base of the cliffs. Then it is probable that they were derived from an Anglo Saxon cemetery, that due to the rapid pace of coastal errosion has been destroyed. There has been a lack of Anglo Saxon finds in recent years.
