Monument record TR 02 SE 263 - Early post medieval structure (Structure J) discovered off Spitalfield Lane, New Romney

Summary

The partial remains of a minimum of ten structures were revealed in section during a watching brief which was carried out ahead of the redevelopment of a site at the junction of Spitalfield Lane and Sussex Road in New Romney, Kent. Structure 'J' appeared to belong to the sixth phase of construction at the site (A.D. 1550-1650). (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on avilable information)
