Full Description
In laying foundations of houses in Rusthall Park, Tunbridge Wells, in 1902, a number of flakes were discovered; now in Tunbridge Wells Museum. They are quite fresh and unpatinated, and include a broken microlithic point blunted down the whole of one side. (1). TQ 5692 3954. Found by Dr. Abbott late of No 2 Rusthall Park at or near that address. (a) A number of flakes including blades, knives and points are exhibited in Tunbridge Wells Museum. (2). TQ 570396 Rusthall Park (sited to place name only) 20 blades/flakes, 2 scrapers and a microlith, all mesolithic, found. Information from J. H. Money, finds in Tunbridge Wells Museum. (3)
