Full Description
Medieval and post-medieval features at 18 Longport, Canterbury were excavated in 1996. these included a medieval street surface, alongside metalled surfaces dating from the medieval and post-medieval periods. The features were associated with finds including late 14th-mid 15th century pieces of leather. These features are thought to be related to the enlargement of the precincts at St Augustine's Abbey.
