Full Description
A probable late medieval wall was excavated in 2002 at Palace Street, Canterbury. The wall was comprised of flint and at least one reused Caen stone block, with the wall facing covered by a coarse gritty off-white render. The render dates the wall to between 1450-1650; it is suggested to have formed part of the street frontage of the stable block. (1)
