Summary

A stream flowing through the grounds of St Mary's Abbey, West Malling fills a lake south of the Guest House TQ 65 NE 51. This could be remains of an earlier fishpond. The stream continues to the Cascade, a 19th century construction. Brooke House in Swan Street, now the NatWest Bank, was built in the 18th century for Mr Francis Brooke.
