Full Description

The foundations of a medieval wall were excavated at St John's Place, Canterbury during an evaluation in 2016. The foundation layer comprised a yellow brown sandy silty deposit, suggested to have been related to St John's Hospital which possessed an adjacent medieval foundation. The wall post-dated a riverine deposit at the site. (1)
