Summary

Former location of house and shop probably dates from the second half of the 18th century, built on an L-plan on a corner site as a private dwelling. In the second quarter of the 19th century the ground floor was converted into a shop and the corner of the building was rounded to give it a fashionable semi-circular finish. The building is of two storeys with an attic, and is built of brick with a tiled roof.
